Scope and Content |
Letter to James Cossar Ewart from James MacDonald with reference to his letter of the previous May making application for an additional grant for expenses to assist with the costs of his experiments in stockbreeding. The directors of the Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland have decided that unless he is able to prove that his experiments will be of direct benefit to breeders of farm livestock in Scotland then they will be unable to offer any further grant. |
