These assorted papers contain reading notes in natural history; clippings in sciences like chemistry, geology (especially mineralogy), and ornithology, quasi-sciences like geography and early psychology, and pseudo-sciences like astrology; economic valuation of natural resources; natural wonders, antiquities, and folklore; travellogues; statistical rundown of the parish of 'Collington'; people in the field of natural history; heraldry and the peerage; literature and contemporary poetry; and many volumes of plant and animal taxonomy.
