Henry Frederich Ulrich (1830-1900) as a candidate for the Royal Society.
Frederick Wollaston Hutton (1836-1905) studied the

volcanic eruption in New Zealand. He invited Geikie to attend a meeting of the
Australasian Association for the Advancement of Science. Robert Mackenzie
