Scope and Content	Letter to Sir Isaac Bayley Balfour from Frederick Orpen Bower concerning his attempts to have David Thomas Gwynne-Vaughan nominated for fellowship of the Royal Society. He states that he will not support Sir Arthur George Tansley's candidature unless Gwynne-Vaughan is also nominated and asks Balfour to sign the certificate (not attached) and pass it on to William Turner Thiselton-Dyer with the request that he return the document with all speed.
