Letter to Frederick Orpen Bower from Robert Kidston who states that he is glad Bower was able to attend the funeral of David Thomas Gwynne-Vaughan and expressing his grief and sorrow at Gwynne-Vaughan's death. He refuses to do an obituary for the Royal Society of Edinburgh as he believes he did not know Gwynne-Vaughan in his early career as Bower did and suggests that Bower should give the obituary he is doing for the Linnean Society to the Royal Society of Edinburgh also. |
