Scope and Content |
Letter to Frederick Orpen Bower from Abercrombie Anstruther Lawson enclosing his paper on the fern Tmesipteris (not attached) which is to be followed by another on the fern Psilotum and a third on the Psilotaceae ferns as a whole. He asks Bower to present it to the Royal Society of Edinburgh for publication. He informs Bower that the Australian military were occupying New Guinea which had a fine botanical garden which was created by the Germans. He thinks that this island is likely to become British following the war and suggests that Bower should ready James Montagu Frank Drummond to apply for the post following the war. |
