Letter to [James Montagu Frank] Drummond from Archibald H Ritchie in which he informs Drummond, in Frederick Orpen Bower's absence in Australia, that he has been successful in obtaining the position of crown entomologist of Jamaica and hopes to start work in January 1915. He extends an invitation to visit to Drummond and everyone in the department of Botany at the University of Glasgow and asks Drummond if he has any advice about the job. He also describes his visit to Florida and comments on the beauty of the state in landscape and flora. |
