Letter to Frederick Orpen Bower from Arthur Harry Church in which he discusses his article entitled Thalassiophyta and the Subaerial Transmigration, (1919), remarking that it can stand on its own. He encloses some recent pamphlets and states that number 4 was also inspired by Bower's work, this time by Botany of the Living Plant, (1919). He states that he was struck by Bower's idea of printing a general run of work as taught at the University of Glasgow which he has found to be particularly useful with students who have just returned from the war and cannot take notes.
