Scope and Content |
Letter to Frederick Orpen Bower from Robert Chapman Davie in which he thanks Bower for the news from home as he has had no letters whilehe has been in France. He states that there has been snow since Christmas and as a result, everything is frozen and little work can be done. When the thaw comes, he has some studies to undertake as to the sterility or sterilisation of chlorinated water but until then there are a few jobs to do in the lab. He states that he is grateful to Bower for his support regarding the job in South Africa. He remarks that his botany is rusting while he is in France but that he shares an interest in natural history with one of his colleagues there. |
