Scope and Content |
Letter to Frederick Orpen Bower from Henry Horatio Dixon stating that he is glad that Bower will be able to travel to Dublin to receive his degree on 4 March 1919 and invites Bower to stay with him for the occasion. He remarks that it was very good of Bower to quote from his work and states that he is looking forward to reading it. He states that he believes the attitude of the ecologists and the physiologists in the physiologist controversy was deplorable and that is is mediaeval to insist that any branch of knowledge and research is a blind alley. |
