Scope and Content	Letter to Frederick Orpen Bower from Henry Horatio Dixon in which he informs Bower that he received the official announcement of his post as external examiner to the University of Glasgow. He thanks Bower for putting his name forward and states that he will be glad to act in that capacity. He invites Bower to stay with him and his wife while he is in Dublin to deliver a lecture at the Royal Dublin Society andasks if there is anything he can do to aid Bower to prepare for the lecture.
