Scope and Content	Letter from Alfred J Ewart in which he states that he has received notice of his appointment as secretary of teh committee of the British Association for the Advancement of Science dealing with the renting of the Cinchona Botanical Station in Jamaica of which Frederick Orpen Bower is chairman. He states that he fears he can be of little use in Australia but that he will do what he can and will no doubt receive instruction from Bower.
