Scope and Content |
Letter to Frederick Orpen Bower from Robert Kidston thanking Bower for sending the reprint of an article from the Glasgow Herald. He had heard of Bower's article from 'a fellow I met in the street'. Kidston's work on asteroxylon is progressing. He has found it difficult but far more interesting than rhynia. They have ahad a number of sections made, with more to come. Hemmingway is working on several pieces. Their knowledge of the plant is constantly increasing and he ahs a number of slides prepared to send to William Henry Lang. He hopes that the Carnegie Trust Trustees will abandon their position regarding publication during the war. |
