Scope and Content

Scope and Content

Letter to Frederick Orpen Bower from Robert Kidston thanking Bower for sending the reprint of an article from the Glasgow Herald. He had heard of Bower's article from 'a fellow I met in the street'.

Kidston's work on asteroxylon is progressing. He has found it difficult but far more interesting than rhynia. They have ahad a number of sections made, with more to come. Hemmingway is working on several pieces. Their knowledge of the plant is constantly increasing and he ahs a number of slides prepared to send to William Henry Lang.

He hopes that the Carnegie Trust Trustees will abandon their position regarding publication during the war.
