Scope and Content |
Letter to Frederick Orpen Bower from Daniel Paul Montague passing on New Year greetings and informing Bower of news Montague has received from the Carnegie Trust. They are willing to hold over his scholarship until he is able to take up the work again. He thanks Bower for his help in achieving this. He shares with Bower his opinion on botany as a whole, stressing his belief that proper development of both morphology and anatomy are a necessity to physiology. His most recent research work into corn growing backs this position up. While he hopes to get back to his other researches, he thinks it will be a slow process. |
