Scope and Content |
Letter to Frederick Orpen Bower from Daniel Paul Montague explaining how busy he has been deputising for Richard Henry Yapp. Though the task has been difficult he feels that recent exam results suggest he has risen to the challenge. He is enclosing copies of the exam paper he set (See GB GB 0248 DC 002/14/360). References are made to student numbers and the nature of their study. All this has left no time for research work, although he has been collaborating on research with the lecturer in agriculture on a series of semi-agricultural researches, which he gives some detail of. He hopes the result of their work will contribute to post-war regeneration of the Empire's resources Richard Henry Yapp has told him that he will not be back next term. Montague is unsure whether he will be able to visit Bower in Glasgow. His health has also been poor though it has now improved. |
