Scope and Content |
Letter to Frederick Orpen Bower from Daniel Paul Montague, marked 'with letter from Hill', explaining why Bower had not received a Christmas card from him. He had left it for his landlady to post and she had neglected to do so. The solution may rely in replacing the landlady with a wife. Departmental work at the Queen's University of Belfast, including an 'agricultural side-show' means that he has little time for research. He asks for news on Bower's forthcoming book, including whether Macmillan will be the publisher. |
