Letter to Frederick Orpen Bower from Sir Isaac Bayley Balfour in which he states that he agrees with Bower that Robert Chapman Davie is not keen on the job in South Africa and informs Bower that he was mistaken in saying that Davie had not asked for a testimonial, he has just found a letter from July 1917 in which Davie does ask.
