Scope and Content

Scope and Content

Letter to Frederick Orpen Bower from Sir Arthur George Tansley in reply regarding Tansley's 'Manifesto'. Tansley is concerned with the excessive influence of morhology in elementary teaching. Though he has no direct knowledge of the syllabuses of Glasgow and Edinburgh universities, he is aware of what is happening at Cambridge and Manchester (he has examined at the latter for two years). His opinion is that physiology in the realm of academic specialism.
