On becoming Member of Parliament for the Scottish Universities in 1935, Sir John Graham Kerr resigned as Regius Chair of Zoology at the University of Glasgow. A dispute arose around his remaining duties at Glasgow, which were taken over by CW Parsons. Kerr was succeeded at Glasgow by Edward Hindle. |
