Sir John Graham Kerr planned a tour of South America from 1895. In preperation he corresponded with many scientists in his own and related fields, such as Oldfield Thomas (1858-1929), Adam Sedgwick (1854-1913) and Sir Arthur Everett Shipley (1861-1927), as well as with officials and others to facilitate his excursion. |
