Biographical History |
After developing his photographs, William Speirs Bruce collected together those of a similar theme. This series deals with general landscapes and seascapes photographed during the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition. The exact location and date of many of the photographs from this series cannot be ascertained due to the general nature of the subject matter although some can be identified as heavy seas en route from the Weddell Sea to Gough Island during the expedition's return journey north. |
