Scope and Content	Emperor penguin in a custom made pen on the deck of the SY Scotia. Two emperor penguins were captured a mile from the ship on 09 March 1904 on the frozen Weddell Sea off Coatsland (74° 01'S 22° 00'W), while the SY Scotia was beset in ice from 07 March 1904-12 March 1904.
