Research Activities within Heriot-Watt College

As in any other Higher Education Institute, a great amount of research was undertaken in Heriot-Watt College. This series contains papers concerning this research which were created at the request of the Scottish Education Department. It spans the changeover period from college to university.

The Research Activities within Heriot-Watt College series consists of:

• Papers including correspondence concerning research topics and grants and lists of research projects undertaken in the university. These included topics such as Design of Computer Calculations (mathematics department), De-watering of Peat (physics department) and Heat Transfer in Condensation (mechanical engineering department).
